Installing
Drag it to Applications
Open the disk image and drag TOTEMDrop into your Applications folder. Run it from there — an app started from the disk image cannot update itself.
Drop a file
Drag a file onto the window, or click to choose one. It is hashed and encrypted on your Mac before the first byte leaves, and you get a link the moment the upload completes. Close the laptop mid-way and the transfer resumes where it stopped.
Sign in for Plus
The free tier needs no account: 2 GB per link, 7 days. Sign in with your TOTEMVPN account for 50 GB and 30 days.
Updates
TOTEMDrop checks totemdrop.com for new versions and installs them in place. Every update is signed with a key only we hold, and the app refuses one whose signature does not match — so even a compromised server cannot push you something else.
Removing it
On a Mac, quit the app and drag it to the Trash. Your transfer list stays in your user Library until you delete it; the link keys stay in your macOS Keychain. On Windows, use Settings → Apps → TOTEMDrop → Uninstall. Links you already sent keep working until they expire or you revoke them.

A new release can meet a SmartScreen notice in its first days, while Windows gets to know it. If it appears, check that the publisher it names is Oceanic Consulting VOF, then choose More info → Run anyway. If the publisher is anything else, do not run the file. TOTEMDrop updates itself from totemdrop.com, and refuses any update whose signature does not match.
